We can scan negatives, 35mm slides, and printed photos no larger than 9x12.

What do I get if I use MAS Memory Preservation to scan my photos?

All Photo Scanning projects whether basic or premium include the following. For more details about our Premium Photo Scanning and Photo Montage Services, please see the text below our pricing chart.

• Concierge Services including pick up and delivery– We offer a concierge service by appointment where we will go over the whole process with you including your preference for photo ordering, sizes you may want to reprint your photos, any deadlines you may have, etc. We are happy to pick up and deliver your project or you are welcome to schedule a time to drop off your photos at our studio.
• Custom DVD covers – Keep your photo library organized while impressing your family and friends with customized DVD covers that will look just like the DVDs you buy at the store including a bar code. Available on all of our Scanning Services. Volume information is printed on the back of each cover so you can easily find the photos you need, if you have more than one DVD made.
• Printed DVD – Your Photos will be delivered to you on a printed DVD. If you have more than one DVD we will include volume numbers.
• Basic Editing - All photo scanning projects will be scanned and corrected for color correction and minimal flaws.

Basic Scanning

Our Basic Photo Scanning package provides only the features above such as concierge services, pick up and delivery, custom DVD cover, printed DVD, and basic editing.

In choosing this package you will only get the following:

• All of your photos will be scanned into a digital format and provided in 5x7 and 8x10 formats.
• All digital files of your photos will be burned onto a DVD. If you require more than one DVD, volume information will be included on the back of the DVD cover and on the printed DVD.
• You will get one copy of the DVD unless you pay to have extra copies made.

Premium Scanning

Our Premium Photo Scanning package provides the features above such as concierge services, pick up and delivery, custom DVD cover, printed DVD, and basic editing in addition to a few extras.

In choosing this package you will also receive the following:

• Additional editing if needed.
• Printed Index book with thumbnails of all of your scanned slides.

Basic Photo Montage / Life Movie

Our Basic Montage / Life Movie package includes concierge with pick up/delivery, DVD cover, printed DVD, Custom Title and Credit Clip, music, basic editing, scanning, and project proofing.*

In choosing this package you will only get the following:

• All of your photos will be scanned into a digital format and provided in 5x7 and 8x10 formats.
• All digital files of your photos will be burned onto a DVD. If you require more than one DVD, volume information will be included on the back of the DVD cover and on the printed DVD.
• We will then take all of your photos and organize them into a montage (a slideshow of your photos set to music).
• You will also receive a Custom Title and Credit Clip for the beginning and end of your montage.
• Your choice of genre or specific songs if available will be added in the background.
• You'll get to proof the project before it is burned to DVD.

Premium Photo Montage / Life Movie

Our Premium Photo Montage / Life Movie package includes the following concierge with pick up/delivery, DVD cover, printed DVD, Custom Title and Credit Clip, music, basic editing, scanning, and project proofing* as noted above plus the following:

• Minor photo restoration of any of the scanned photos or slides
• Up to 4 Chapter inclusions (We use this if you have a theme for your Montage i.e. an anniversary and you'd like to separate groups of pictures.)
• Up to 4 Graphic/Text clips (We can add poetry, any heart felt notes you'd like to add, any funny antidotes or creative graphics to celebrate the theme of your montage.

 

Please note the following:

*After 4 different reviews we might suggest meeting in person to review the overall project, to discuss all of the changes you’ve requested, and to see what else we can do to make your project one you’ll love. Typically, we like to get a detailed list of what you want in your project before we start to work so we can deliver a project that will need few changes, but we do understand sometimes you might need to change the direction of the Life Movie after seeing it a few times and while we will work with you to make any changes you might want to make we do reserve the right to charge a $25.00 an hour design fee after 4 different reviews.
